Print & Pride Workshop: The History of Queer IdentityJoin Auburn Langley for a Print & Pride workshop exploring the communities and identities within the Queer spectrum that came before us. Using “Queer” as a reclaimed umbrella embracing the full spectrum of LGBTQIA+ identities, this session invites reflection on the people who challenged boundaries and helped shape the present.
Together, we’ll explore some of the trends and fashions that signaled safety and brought people together, pushing back against societal limits. Inspired by their stories, you’ll create your own expressive artwork using print and mixed-media.
No pressure to make anything “perfect” — this is a space for messy, heartfelt creativity at any level. Each participant will create a scrapbooking page celebrating Queer identity, and all pages will be brought together into a collective creative book celebrating queer history, pride, and community.
📅 When: Monday, May 18th | 6–8 pm
