Create a bespoke drum lampshade with block printing on fabric in this engaging workshop led by Lydia a skilled fabric printer and maker from Suffolk.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn the art of block printing to personalise textiles.
- Practise techniques on scrap fabric before printing a 30cm drum lampshade on cotton or linen.
- Experiment with a variety of wooden blocks linocut designs and paint colours.
- Take home a unique handmade lampshade and new creative skills.
- Optional: Enjoy a walkthrough of David Parr House.
This workshop is open to all skill levels from beginners to experienced printers.
