Everything here circles back to one question: how do we meet each other?
Through PrimalPlay, Contact Improvisation, and body contact practices, we find our way back to the sensing, breathing animal body. We arrive slowly, listening inward — and from that grounded place, we turn toward one another. Rooted in connection, attunement, and trust, this is a living, embodied exploration of what it means to truly be in relation.
PRIMAL PLAY
A wordless conversation. A moving meditation. No script, no goal, no need to show up as anything other than yourself.
Primal Play holds a paradox at its centre — the freedom of total presence alongside a deep, instinctive awareness of self and other. It is not about letting go of yourself. It is about finally finding yourself, here, in this moment, among others.
As we settle into genuine listening, something shifts. A quiet confidence grows — not the kind that comes from control, but from real contact. With your own body. With another. With the living field between us. What moves through might be energetic and expansive, or soft and barely there. Either way, it is true.
What is stirring in me right now? How does it want to be expressed? And from that alive place — how do I reach toward you?
CONTACT IMPRO
At its core, Contact Improvisation is beautifully simple — two bodies, a point of shared touch, and a mutual willingness to pay attention. No set roles, no rehearsed steps. Just an unfolding, physical conversation guided by weight, breath, and presence.
It is perhaps the most honest practice of trust we know. We learn to offer and receive, to follow a thread of sensation, to rest in not-knowing. The body leads. The body listens. The body finds its way.
Open to everyone — all ages, all bodies, all levels of experience. No dance background needed. Only curiosity. Clothes on throughout.
