Celebrate Pride at the Intrepid Museum with a day of hands-on art, storytelling and community. Families of all ages and identities are invited to explore the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to space science as part of this Pride Month Kick-off event.
Activities are designed for learners of all ages and abilities. All registrants will receive a social narrative in advance to help them prepare for the event.
Current and former service members and their families can enjoy a special Military Family Lounge featuring light snacks and beverages.
Teens are encouraged to visit the Teen Corner to create art, connect and make friends.
Entry to the Museum is FREE with event pre-registration. Families can check in to the event until 3:00pm.
All visitors must enter through the Museum's Welcome Center.

Current and former service members and their families can enjoy a special Military Family Lounge featuring light snacks and beverages.
What accessibility accommodations does this program have?
Family Day is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all families, including those with disabilities. All Family Day activities are in wheelchair-accessible areas. All activities include visual instructions and adaptive tools. Sensory bags with noise reduction headphones and fidgets will be available at the Information Desk and activity areas. A quiet room will be open in the Education Center. Accessible and single-stall restrooms are located near the activity areas.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but if you can bring a paper or digital copy of your ticket it may expedite the check-in process!
