Glow Up is a glow-in-the-dark Pride dance built by and for Central Florida's LGBTQ+ youth. Three organizations who love this community, Zebra Youth, Orlando Youth Alliance, and Camp Pride, are teaming up to throw the kind of Pride night you actually want to be at. No stuffy formal. No grown-up energy. Just neon, music, your people, and a whole lot of joy.
This dance lands during a meaningful month for our community. June marks the 10th remembrance of Pulse, and on June 28 it will be the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. We are gathering the night before to do what queer young people have always done: take up space, dance freely, and celebrate each other.
The Vibe
- Glow-in-the-dark dance floor with UV lights and neon everywhere
- DJ spinning music you actually want to hear (we will be asking for your song requests before the event)
- 360 photo booth and a foot photographer capturing the night
- Drag queen tarot readings (yes, really)
- Snacks, drinks, and chill zones for when you need a break
- A quiet sensory-friendly room for anyone who needs lower stimulation
- Games and board games corner for non-dancers
What to Wear
Wear white, wear neon, wear glow accessories, or wear whatever makes you feel like you. This is not a formal. There is no dress code. Come as you are.
The Details
- Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
- Time: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Ages: 13 to 17
- Cost: Free
- Capacity: 60 (waitlist available once we hit capacity)
- Location: Orlando, FL. Exact address shared with registered guests one week before the event.
- Format: Drop-off event. Parents and guardians are welcome to volunteer as chaperones if they would like to be on-site.
Access and Safety
We are building this night to be affirming for every young person who walks in:
- A dedicated quiet sensory space with noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, soft lighting, and seating
- Communication wristbands so you can signal your social availability without having to explain
- A photo opt-out wristband for anyone who does not want to be photographed
- Trained chaperones from all three organizations, plus a licensed mental health clinician on-site
- All-gender restrooms
- Wheelchair accessible (ground floor venue)
- Allergen-aware food options
How to Register
Click the green "Reserve a Spot" button. You will need to complete a short registration form including parent or guardian contact info and a media release. Registration closes one week before the event or when we hit capacity, whichever comes first.
