About this Event

Speaker, Bonita Eby, is a Burnout Prevention and Organizational Culture Consultant and CEO of Breakthrough Personal & Professional Development Inc. She works at the intersection of health and leadership development.

Bonita provides workshops, training, coaching and consulting to healthcare, corporate, nonprofit, emergency response and education organizations.

She has worked with many distinguished companies, including the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Her work has been featured on CTV News, CHCH Morning Live, Thrive Global and many other news outlets.

Bonita is on a mission to end burnout.

Workshop Learning Objectives:

  • Learn an evidence-based definition of burnout and how it relates to quiet quitting, lack of engagement, reduced productivity and lowered innovation.
  • Understand why burnout has escalated in recent years.
  • Learn how to identify burnout by its evidence-based effects on seven areas of well-being.
  • Understand the research behind stress, stagnation and languishing and its effects on burnout and mental health.
  • Learn how interruptions create fragmentation in your brain, causing a sense of disruption and a lack of innovation.
  • Gain technology management skills to reduce fragmentation and increase productivity.
  • Engage interactively in small group discussions and a Q&A period for deeper learning and greater engagement.
  • Receive a participant workbook as a companion guide for the workshop and future reference.
