Six years ago we were preparing a piece for a spring concert that never happened.
On April 26 at 5 pm, We May Be Minstrels finally sings it! 🎶💖
This concert feels like coming home for us. We were originally founded to sing Renaissance music with other enthusiastic music nerds, and this program returns to those roots while including works by composers spanning more than four centuries. Featured composers include women composers Amy Beach and Maddalena Casulana 👩‍🎼 and even an arrangement of Pink Floyd by one of our own 🎸.
And yes, the piece we never got to sing in Spring 2020 is finally on this program. We’re not telling you which one. You’ll have to come find out. 👀
We are especially excited to welcome a few additional wonderful singers on select pieces, allowing us to expand into eight-part textures, a rare treat for both singers and listeners!
