Our inaugural Pretentious Losers Book Club meeting will commence in person on Monday, May 18th at 7pm. Don’t be shy -- we're all losers here!
Born from the fatigue of reading bad airport books à la Colleen Hoover (see: pretentious) and having your feminist reading suggestions rejected (see: loser), I'm creating a book club that is for us and by us -- and by us, I mean those of us who oppose oppression, fascism, and did not vote for it in the 2024 (or 2020, or 2016) election.
We will meet monthly on Monday nights and share our perspectives and takeaways from our nonfiction and fiction selections.
