He is the owner of Grain & Pestle, a market garden and apothecary based at 20140 Livernois in Highland Park, Michigan, offering herbal teas, tinctures, extracts, and infused products.

Geo’s practice draws from Black Southern farming traditions, Maroon herbal knowledge, and Classical Chinese Medicine. He lectures nationally and internationally and currently practices acupuncture in Detroit while leading workshops on herbal medicine, holistic mental health, nutrition, and the arts.
