🔥 Prescribed Fire Program at Chinsegut Conservation Center 🔥Join us on Wednesday, November 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon for an exciting and educational look at how prescribed fire is used to care for Florida’s natural lands.
Biologists from Chinsegut Wildlife and Environmental Area will share how fire plays a vital role in maintaining healthy habitats, supporting wildlife, and preventing wildfires.
🌿 What to expect:
- Learn what goes into planning for a prescribed burn and how prescribed burns help restore ecosystems
- See a brush truck and fire equipment up close
- Enjoy a live fire demonstration (weather permitting!)
- Ask questions and connect with local conservation professionals
This free, family-friendly program is open to all ages. To keep things safe and enjoyable for everyone, spots are limited and registration is required at the link below:
