About this Event
Two Participatory Workshops: Water History Timeline Project for the Upper Verde Watershed
Purpose: For you, the community members, to share your stories, memories, and historical events related to your watershed. The information collected will be incorporated into a multi-media website highlighting key water-related historical events in the Upper Verde Watershed.
The University of Arizona Water Resources Research Center (WRRC), in partnership with Yavapai County Cooperative Extension and The Nature Conservancy, invites you to participate in a community-building event to contribute to a water history timeline for the Upper Verde Watershed. Two meetings will be held, one in Prescott and one in Chino Valley (details below). Food and beverages will be provided. Due to limited room capacity, registration will be capped at 50 participants.
