Join the Hoosic River Watershed Association and Adams Council on Aging for a lunchtime chat and slide show on Preparing for the Foraging Season with forager Ed Ciara at Adams Visitor Center, 3 Hoosac St.They say there are bold mushroom hunters and there are old mushroom hunters, but there are no bold old mushroom hunters. Well Ed Ciara is one of our elders - he has been foraging for decades, making meals from the flora and fungi he harvests. Ed will talk about his experiences as a forager and the dishes he has created using wild foods he has harvested. Nibbles will be served.
