About this Event
Come learn how to kick off the growing season in your vegetable garden with Ian Wilson from Portland Edible Gardens! This class will cover when and how to amend and cultivate your garden soil, good choices for compost and organic fertilizers, and what vegetables to plant in this seasonal window from both seeds and starts. Come with questions and enthusiasm, and leave with the confidence to plant an edible garden!

***All classes will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 1, which is located right behind the store. It is a large greenhouse, so it functions as a covered outdoor area. We will have patio heaters going if it's cold out but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
