Our class was designed and created by an experienced and credentialed childbirth educator who believes that birth is normal, natural, and healthy. Couples will be prepared for a low intervention, unmedicated, natural birth after attending this class. Topics of discussion include: signs and symptoms of labor, phases and stages of labor, comfort measures for labor, questions to ask during a hospital tour, medically necessary reasons for induction, avoiding unnecessary interventions, c-section, anesthesia, early breastfeeding, breathing and relaxation techniques and visualization, postpartum, choosing a pediatrician and the 4th trimester.
This is a one day, comprehensive class.
