This in-person class is designed to help you feel more confident, more prepared and less afraid of the unknown.Led by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn how your body works during labor, how to adapt to the challenges of childbirth and ways to stay more comfortable throughout the process.
This class is best completed at least three weeks before your due date, and we recommend registering early as sessions fill quickly.
During this class, you’ll learn:
• How to manage and reduce labor discomfort at home and in the hospital
• Signs of labor, when to call your provider and what to expect when you arrive
• What’s considered normal during labor and delivery
• Common procedures and your options and choices during birth
• Pain management options, including medication and anesthesia
