About this Event
Premium Collection Tea Ceremony - Chinese Gong Fu Tea
Join us as we indulge in an intimate, afternoon tea tasting of some of the most exclusive, single-origin teas in the world. Teas will be prepared using Gong Fu Pao by our own tea master and founder Zhao Zhao.
Teas Included:
- Classic Lapsang Souchong
- Wild Black Tea
- Lishan Black Tea
Light tea snacks will be provided. Attendees will also receive an exclusive 10% discount towards purchases after.
Featured Terroirs:
Tong Mu Guan - A region located high in the Wuyi Mountains, also known as the original birthplace of Lapsang Souchong black tea. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site and ecological preserve, teas grown here experience incredible natural biodiversity. Handpicked only once each year, our Wild Black Tea comes from 100-year-old tea trees in Tong Mu Guan. Availability outside of China is extremely limited as most authentic, top-tier teas are reserved for domestic consumption.
Lishan Pear Mountain - Renowned for its high mountain oolong, Lishan also produces black tea. Located at over 1200 meters (3900 feet!), teas grown here have a unique depth of flavor. Each tea leaf is handpicked, as machines cannot be transported up these narrow mountains. Participants will develop their palette through a comparative tasting of different black tea craftsmanship and terroirs from both China and Taiwan.
