You got up at the crack of a chilly dawn, and you were on the lift as soon as it started running. Now, after a long day spent kicking up rooster tails of soft powder, your lengthening shadow chases you down the mountain on the last run of the afternoon.
Our cheesemonger and wine seller promise to transport you to the snowy slopes without leaving the city. Immerse yourself in the flavors of the alpine regions from Verbier to Vermont to Vail, picking and choosing the best après-ski traditions to highlight. This class will take you on a multi-course culinary expedition that will highlight mountaintop traditions such as oozy Swiss Raclette, a hearty, saucy meat dish, and rich Comté fondue and more! And, in the tradition of our premiere series classes, the wine and drinks will be flowing while you enjoy a seated, intimate experience in our shop after hours.
Whether you're a ski enthusiast or simply love good food and wine, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and memorable evening. To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, , wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a seated event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This is an event for those who are 21+. We will check IDs at the door.
IMPORTANT NOTE:IMPORTANT NOTE: Please reach out to [email protected] when you make your reservation if you or a member of your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions or requires seating. Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
