You're invited to attend the premiere screening of Haunted Pamlico's documentary, "A Peaceful Rest: Stories from Grave Keepers of ENC" at 6 p.m. June 5 in the gallery of the historic Turnage Theater.
The event begins with a reception, including food, drink, and meet-and-greet sessions with the filmmakers and interview subjects. The screening will begin at 6:45 p.m., with a question-and-answer period to follow.
Learn about grassroots efforts to preserve and maintain small family cemeteries and public burial grounds across eastern North Carolina. And meet some of the dedicated volunteers who are powering those efforts to honor their predecessors and protect the fascinating history they've uncovered along the way.
Admission is free, but we will accept donations for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Alternative Stage. Seating will be limited. Please advise us if you need subtitles or other accommodations to enjoy the viewing experience. We'll do our best to oblige.
