PODROBNOSTI IN NIVOJI DELAVNIC:
🔸 STORMY WEATHER, Špela & Xesc
Naučili se bomo solo jazz koreografije iz filma Stormy Weather (1943). Rutina temelji na osnovnih solo jazz korakih na pesem s srednjim tempom Caba Callowayja.
Zahtevani nivo: Delavnica je odprta za vse.

🔸 LINDY CHARLESTON, Špela & Xesc
Delavnica je namenjena vsem, ki poznajo nekaj osnov Charlestona, kot so hand to hand, tandem, skip ups, kick through itd. Začeli bomo z osnove in razvili novo besedišče in prehode.
Zahtevani nivo: Poznavanje osnov Charlestona
🔸 COL. SHAG ROLE SWITCHING, Pavla & Matej K.
Na delavnici menjave vlog v collegiate shagu si bomo shag pogledali iz druge strani: leaderji bodo sledili, followerke vodile… pa spet leaderji vodili in followerke sledile… zabava zagotovljena!
Pogledali si bomo nekaj načinov za skok izven in nazaj v našo prvotno vlogo, poleg tega pa se bomo naučili plesati v novi vlogi.
Tečaj obenem predstavlja način za sprostitev pred božičnimi počitnicami in odlično priložnost za boljše razumevanje soplesalca/soplesalke.
Zahtevani nivo: Predpostavljeno je udobje v osnovnem šestštevnem shag koraku; poznavanje nekaj osnovnih figur in break-ov bo koristilo! (odprt nivo)
🔸 SLOW LINDY, Tita & Matej Š.
Vabljeni na sproščeno delavnico slow lindya, kjer bomo zabrisali meje med lindy hopom in počasnejšimi plesi, kot sta blues in slow balboa – raziskovali bomo lepoto počasnejšega tempa, razvijali kontrolo gibanja in povezavo s partnerjem.
Zahtevani nivo: Delavnica je namenjena plesalcem z osnovnim znanjem Lindy Hopa, ki želite poglobiti svoj plesni izraz in dodati več občutka in dinamike v svoj ples.

❗️ Za udeležbo na tečaj se je potrebno predhodno prijaviti, kar lahko narediš s plesnim partnerjem ali brez. Da bi lahko zagotovili primerno razmerje med leaderji in followerji, boste tisti, ki se prijavite sami, morda uvrščeni na čakalno listo. Med tečajem priporočamo, da menjaš plesne partnerje – tudi tisti, ki se na tečaj prijavite v paru, ne boste celo plesno uro plesali zgolj s plesnim partnerjem, s katerim ste se prijavili na tečaj. Všeč nam je ideja, da vsi plešemo z vsemi.

DETAILS AND LEVELS OF WORKSHOPS:
🔸 STORMY WEATHER, Špela & Xesc
We will learn a solo jazz routine from the movie Stormy Weather (1943). The routine is based on basic solo jazz steps to a mid-up tempo song by Cab Calloway. The workshop is open for everyone to join.

Required level: The workshop is open to everyone.
🔸 LINDY CHARLESTON, Špela & Xesc
The workshop is for everyone who has some basics of Charleston, such as, hand to hand, tandem, skip up, kick through, etc. We will start from there and develop new vocabulary and transitions.
Required level: Knowledge of the basics of Charleston
🔸 COL. SHAG ROLE SWITCHING, Pavla & Matej K.
Join us for a dive into role switching in collegiate shag. Follows will lead, leads will follow, leads will lead, follows will follow... and everybody will laugh.
We will explore ways to transition out of and back into our primary role, and learn to navigate our new role.
The class is both a lighthearted way to unwind before the Christmas break, and a great opportunity to understand how we can work with the opposite role better.
Required level: You should be very comfortable with the 6-count shag basic; familiarity with some basic moves and breaks is going to help a lot! (open level)

You are invited to a relaxed slow Lindy workshop, where we will blur the boundaries between Lindy Hop and slower dances such as blues and slow balboa - we will explore the beauty of a slower tempo, develop control of movement and connection with your partner. The workshop is intended for dancers with basic knowledge of Lindy Hop who want to deepen their dance expression and add more feeling and dynamics to their dancing.

❗️ Advance registration is required to participate in the course, which you can do with or without a partner. To ensure an appropriate leader-follower ratio, individuals without a partner may be placed on a waiting list. We recommend changing dance partners during the course, so even those who register with "their" partner will not dance with him/her the entire time. We like the idea of everyone dancing with everyone else.
