About this Event
Preachin' To The Choir: An Inconvenient Truth is a multi-media immersive theatrical event that involves acting, music, dance, audio & video mediums, and an art installation with historical references to the characters in the play. The production promotes education, reintroducing African spirituality, healing past and present traumas, and self-empowerment as a community.
Our goal is to celebrate Black Lives Matter, LGBT+, women's issues, and other marginalized social organizations within the United States. We want to build a bridge of intersectionality, initiate the conversation, and provide a voice for disenfranchised groups throughout the diaspora.
*Please note that this is a STANDING event. Please arrive promptly. The event lasts one hour and fifteen minutes with no intermission. There will be no seating (standing room only) during the immersive experience, so please prepare accordingly.*
