OBJECTIVES:

• To achieve the readiness of students for admission to Madrasah education
• To assess the student's knowledge and skills in the Arabic language, Islamic studies, and general subjects such as mathematics, English language, and Malay Languages
• To identify the strengths and weaknesses of the students and determine the student's ability to comprehend and apply basic concepts and principles and provide guidance for improvement
• To ensure that the students possess the necessary foundation for successful learning in Madrasah education
• To establish a benchmark for measuring the effectiveness of the Madrasah Entry Preparatory Programme in preparing students for Madrasah education.

What Your Child Will Learn in This Course

English Language

- **Phonics and Blending:** Recognize and blend sounds to form words.

- **Spelling:** Learn to spell without memorization techniques.

- **Listening Skills:** Develop effective listening abilities.

- **Grammar:** Understand and apply basic grammar skills.

- **Vocabulary Building:** Expand vocabulary through various themes.

- **Comprehension:** Improve reading comprehension and practice comprehension cloze exercises.

Mathematics

- **Number Sense:** Count numbers up to 100.

- **Basic Operations:** Perform simple addition and subtraction up to 20.

- **Number Bonds:** Understand the concept of number bonds.

- **Ordinal Numbers:** Learn to identify and use ordinal numbers.

- **Shapes:** Recognize and name different geometric shapes.

- **Number Patterns:** Identify and understand number patterns.

- **Word Problems:** Solve basic mathematical word problems.

Malay Language

- **Phonics and Blending:** Recognize letter sounds and blend them to form words.

- **Spelling:** Learn to spell without relying on memorization.

- **Grammar:** Understand basic Malay grammar rules.

- **Vocabulary Building:** Expand vocabulary through various exercises.

- **Comprehension Cloze:** Practice comprehension cloze exercises.

- **Communication:** Build confidence in communicating in Malay.

Arabic Language:

- **Alphabet Recognition:** Recognize the 28 Arabic letters in their different forms.

- **Writing Practice:** Practice writing Arabic letters.

- **Alphabet Order:** Arrange Arabic letters in the correct order.

- **Letter Connection:** Learn the joining and separation of letters.

- **Numbers:** Recognize Arabic numbers up to 10.

- **Vocabulary Building:** Enhance vocabulary through various themes such as colors, animals, classroom objects, family members, body parts, vehicles, shapes, and fruits.

Iqra Recitations (Tilawati / Qiraati):

- **Letter Sounds:** Recite the 28 Arabic letters with correct articulation (Makharij Al-Huroof).

- **Harakat:** Learn Fathah, Kasra, Dhomma, Sukoon, Shaddah, Fathatain, Kasratain, and Dhommatain.

Dua and Surah Memorization:

- **Daily Duas:** Memorize and recite daily duas for:

- Before and after meals

- Entering and leaving the mosque, house, and toilet

- Before sleep and upon waking

- Before studying

- Looking into the mirror

- Boarding vehicles

- Surah Memorization:** Memorize the last 15 Surahs of the Quran.
