Come along to meet your fellow advocates at this pre-conference animal meetup! This will be a day of casual discussion and some structured discussion to get to know other advocates around Australia and potentially find opportunities to collaborate. This meetup is being held in the lead-up to EAGxAustralasia, which is a conference held by the effective altruism community. The conference provides opportunities to connect, learn, and take concrete, evidence-based actions to make the world a better place, held over the weekend of Friday 28th-Sunday 30th November.
But you don’t need to attend the conference to come to this animal meetup!
The meetup will run from 10am-4pm, with a lunch break from 12:30-1:30 at a local restaurant or park. Please remember to bring some sunscreen!
