Free Wellness Walk - Come and join us!To attend this event you MUST book a place on the Wellness Walks website.
This is a 2.5 mile “out and back” walk to the “Praying Hands of Mary”, famous standing stones in Glen Lyon, with an option for a 2 mile extension further up the valley if the group would like it and the weather is being kind!
According to myths, The Praying Hands , also known as Fionn’s rock, were split by an arrow fired by the legendary Celtic hero Fingal, or Fionn mac Cumhaill. They are spectacular, as are the views East to the hills. Don’t be put off by the length of the drive to the start point – with good reason Sir Walter Scott described it as Scotland’s Longest, Loneliest and Loveliest Glen so you can enjoy the drive down Glen Lyon.
PLEASE NOTE - you may not have signal on your phone so download google maps offline status before you leave!
