What is Pranayama?
Pranayama is “the yoga of breathing.” It is a breath regulation practice developed by ancient yogis to re-establish and activate the LIFE FORCE within and around us. It is a technique to create mental/psychological benefits that reduce stress and improve mental clarity.
This workshop will teach up to 5 unique types of pranayama techniques to help you reduce stress. This class is suitable for all levels, including those who have never done pranayama before.
Leave with increased focus, emotional stability, and a sense of inner harmony and balance!
What to expect:
Guided Meditation with an introduction to Pranayama and other self care techniques, Reflective Journaling and some brief discussion
What to bring: Yoga mat or yoga blanket, comfortable clothing, a journal with a pen, and an open heart
