About this Event
Perry and Press Maxwell's masterpiece in Prairie Dunes Country Club has played host to a Fried Egg Golf event every year since 2021. It's been a relationship that has further elevated our appreciation for the course's architecture and made memories that'll last a lifetime. Now, it's time to kick it up a notch.
In 2026, we're modifying our Kansas journey to be a smaller group with more golf and more camaraderie. A group of 48 players will head to Hutchinson for three rounds of golf, two nights of on-site lodging, and a full array of meals throughout the weekend. It's a summer extravaganza you won't want to miss.

Course Information
Prairie Dunes
Prairie Dunes offers golf course architecture you can’t find in many places in America. With nine holes each from Perry and Press Maxwell holes, the course brilliantly weaves together the work of a father-son duo and is a living tribute to their vision. But it doesn’t take a golf architecture aficionado to appreciate the genius of Prairie Dunes. From the all-world par-4 eighth to the provocative par-4 12th to the jaw-dropping par-5 17th green, Prairie Dunes has some of the most striking golf holes anywhere.
What makes Prairie Dunes truly special is how well the course fits in and maximizes its natural environment. Kansas is known for its sand and its wind, and the course puts both on full display. Routed around, over, on top of, and through massive sand dunes, the course routinely turns you around and gives you a new wind direction to negotiate. As if the design weren’t enough, you also have to battle the elements of Mother Nature. Prairie Dunes is a special place that every golfer should experience at least once in their lifetime.
