Event description
This hands-on workshop with Dan is a practical introduction to basic woodworking and joinery using hand tools. Over two hours, Dan will guide a small group through a range of common joinery techniques, explaining what each joint is used for and giving you time to practise making them yourself. The focus is on understanding the basics, working carefully with hand tools, and building confidence through doing. This session is ideal if you’re new to woodworking or curious about how things are put together, and want a friendly, supportive place to learn the fundamentals.

Session Information
- These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 18 or over to attend.
- Unless otherwise specified, all tools and materials will be provided by us.
- Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
- Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. This will be provided by us.
- Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.
