Practical Self-Care for Women in Business: Hosted by the Mohawk Valley Business Women's Network at The PortalJoin the Mohawk Valley Business Women's Network for an intentional evening designed to support women in business through connection, education, and practical self-care.
This collaborative workshop introduces participants to MVBWN and its mission while offering accessible, science-informed tools to support the body and nervous system. The evening is also an opportunity to experience The Portal as a space created for thoughtful gathering, learning, and restoration.
The event will begin with light networking and food, followed by an interactive educational session led by MaryBeth Ritenour of Mohawk Valley Healing Therapies. MaryBeth will share practical tools for everyday self-care, including simple movement, energy techniques, and anatomy-based insights to help participants better understand and support their bodies. Time will be included for questions and discussion.
The evening will conclude with a short sound experience led by Chelan Vanno, Founder of The Portal, offering participants a calming, restorative practice to support regulation and integration. Chelan will also briefly share how the space is being used to support individuals, practitioners, and organizations in the region.
This workshop is designed to be welcoming, practical, and grounding by offering tools you can use right away while creating space to slow down, connect, and reset.
No prior experience is needed. Come as you are.
