About this Event
This full day anesthesia course focuses on building safer, more structured anesthetic practice in small animal medicine. The morning reviews premedication and induction protocols, followed by a hands on session covering anesthesia machine function, circle and Bain systems, and systematic leak testing and troubleshooting. Airway management and endotracheal intubation principles are reviewed in a structured, practical framework. The afternoon is case based and focuses on monitoring interpretation and management of common anesthetic problems including hypotension, ECG interpretation, hypoxemia, hypothermia, and an introduction to capnography.
