NEWCC takes youth on a journey of how plants grow! Their team - including 2026 Climate Fellow, Daisy - will read a story and lead a discussion on sunlight and gardening. Participants will have the opportunity to plant their own seeds and learn to track growth.
Expect opportunities for creativity and exploration- with on-site solar-powered oven and BBQ for observation. Note: Weather permitting, participants will be able to roast halal s'mores on the solar-powered BBQ.
