Join us for a glamourous evening of food, drinks, company, and fabulous purses!
Power of the Purse includes a silent and live auction of new and used purses, a selection of grab and go handbags, and other accessories guests can purchase. A signature YWCA fundraising initiative, this event supports Finacial Literacy, Financial Education and Financial Empowerment for families who have experienced domestic violence in the Yakima Valley.
YWCA Yakima is committed to disrupting the cycle of relationship abuse. Financial abuse is one of the most powerful methods of keeping a survivor trapped in an abusive relationship. Funds raised from the event will provide survivors with the education and resources needed to achieve their potential again and equip young people with the information and confidence they need to prevent unhealthy relationships before they start.
