"My name is Mario Godoy and my firm represents immigrants navigating the immigration system and we also represent immigrants accused of crimes.
Part of the reason I went to Law School was so I could achieve financial freedom while making a difference in the world. But law school never taught us the business of running a successful law firm.
As a small firm, I’ve been reaching out to experts to help us build our firm as a “business” and I realized, that I’m not the only lawyer who didn’t learn how to be an entrepreneur in law school.
I’ve learned that every successful law firm has seven working parts:
