What: Girl Scout Powder Puff DerbyWhen:
Derby: Saturday, April 11 from 10am-12pm
Weigh In: Friday, April 10 from 6-8pm
Deadline to RSVP to Leaders : Friday, March 27th
Where: Emerson School Gym
Who: Area 301 Girl Scout Troops
How: Troop leaders will pass out the rules and car kits for any girl scout that will be participating. Car kits are $6 each which includes the block for the car and wheels. You can purchase any additional weights or things from Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Girl Scouts are encouraged to do as much if not all of the car themselves, however with guidance/help when needed. Girl Scouts will have approx 1 month to make their car and then we will bring them to the Powder Puff Derby to race.
Leaders: I will need a list of your girls names to put into the derby program. This will make weigh in faster and more efficient.
