This October, we’re excited to offer a unique 2-Day Ceramics Workshop taught by renowned Argentinian artist Tere Pensel, whose work is a testament to the beauty of raw, organic forms in clay. Her vessels are inspired by natural textures and colors, as seen in the stunning pieces she creates herself – all from clays she formulates. This workshop is perfect for anyone passionate about clay, ceramics, and the process of creation.
🌿 What makes this workshop fascinating?
Tere's expertise in making her own clay bodies and engobes (liquid clay slips for surface decoration) will be the cornerstone of this workshop. Students will be guided step by step in learning how to create their very own clay body—an invaluable skill that's not commonly offered in traditional pottery workshops! Imagine crafting your vessels with clay you’ve made yourself, deeply connecting to the medium from its very foundation.
