About this Event
Join us at Creative Bloc for a chill Friday evening of ceramic sculpting and make your own trinket tray to be used as a dish or as a wall hanging. This is a relaxed, social class. Bring a friend or make some new ones!
You will learn some basic pottery hand-building techniques and design your own trinket shelf or dish from stoneware clay. No experience necessary - we will guide you through the process step by step and provide some templates to help you along. Your piece will be approx 15 x 20cm but this will all depend on the shape you choose to create on the night.
Your piece will then dry in the studio to be fired and glazed by studio technicians, ready for you to collect in approx 2 weeks.
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy (the clay will wash out) or bring an apron if you prefer.

The tutor: Addison(she/they) has 15+ years experience teaching workshops and creates jewellery collections & homewares under the brand Planet Peach.
The Venue: Creative Bloc Glasgow is a new arts collective and creative studio in Glasgow North-West. 814 Garscube Road, G20 7ET.
Public transport:
First busses 60, 60A, 61 - Bluebird X10, X10A and West Coast Motors 17 all stop on Maryhill Road just 2 minutes walk away.
Kelvinbridge and St Georges Cross underground are approx 17mins walk.
