About this Event
A functional piece perfect for rinsing fresh berries.
In this relaxed, supportive studio class, we’ll walk you step-by-step through building a handled berry mug using simple slab-building techniques. No pottery experience needed.
We’ll guide you with:
- Forming a smooth, sturdy cylinder from rolled clay slabs
- Shaping and attaching a comfortable, balanced handle
- Creating and attaching the perforated strainer
- Designing a clean pour spout so water drains easily
- Adding surface texture or carved details for that handmade Etsy-style charm
What’s Included: Clay, tools, glazing, kiln firing, and step-by-step guidance
Spots are limited, and this is a perfect workshop for friends, date afternoons, or anyone craving a creative reset. Come get your hands in clay and make something you’ll use (and love) for years.
At Pottering’s, every workshop includes glazing, your way. You can come back during a Glaze Open Studio session (included with your class) and finish your piece yourself, or simply choose your glaze and we’ll take care of it for you. Your finished pottery will be ready for pickup about 5–6 weeks after your class.
