Following their 2023 Frankie-nominated musical, Home Theatre Productions is back with this witchy story about the most contentious potion on the market... Love potions! In this comedy, a quirky family of witches, led by an eccentric matriarch, runs a bustling potion shop. When love potions are suddenly banned, chaos ensues as the family struggles to save their beloved business amongst mounting intergenerational political rifts.
Originally scheduled to premiere in 2020 at the McGill Drama Festival, but cancelled due to COVID-19, Potion Ethics was later presented in 2021 as a staged reading in Home Theatre Productions’ “New Play Development Series”. We are so excited to finally bring a full staging of this poignant, hilarious show to audiences.
