Cowboy Dan is back to jangle and jaunt at The Portland Public House.If you like upbeat happy sad music, that encourages hips to sway and minds to engage, then this might be just the place for you. Compared by several folks to The Pixies, The Bats and The Cure, with generous dollops of 80's Flying Nun jangle vibe, echoes of Built To Spill and Real Estate, and a not-dissimilar sonic trajectory akin to Alvvays and Arcade Fire, peppered with modesty and quality banter, Cowboy Dan live at Portland is always a good time.
