Post-Symposium Architectural Presentation: "Some Symbols in the Architecture at Vassar College" by Martha Frish (Vassar '78)
About this Event

Following the close of the 2024 RGME Spring Symposium and its Celebratory Brunch at Vassar College on Sunday 21 April 2024, we offer an optional extra, as Martha Frish (Vassar College Class of 1978 and RGME Consultant) will present a survey of "Some Symbols in the Architecture at Vassar College", with the opportunity for Q&A and discussion. The survey will examine some highlights of Vassar College architecture, set into context, with reflections about the experiences of living within the architectural structures of the College campus as part of student life in the course of the pursuit of a Liberal Arts education, returning to the campus, or visiting it for the first time.

The presentation will take place in the Meeker Room of the Art Library.

Please register for a place so that we may know how many attendees to expect. Registration is free; donations for the RGME as a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization are welcome.

For information about the Symposium, please see https://manuscriptevidence.org/wpme/2024-spring-symposium-at-vassar-college/, with information about registration.
