About this Event
Overview:
Positive psychology focuses on identifying and enhancing individual strengths, fostering well-being, and promoting a growth mindset. In the workplace, this approach helps employees feel more engaged, motivated, and fulfilled, leading to higher productivity and job satisfaction.
Event aims and outcomes
We’ll explore how cultivating an optimistic mindset and leveraging signature strengths can build a positive, resilient workplace culture.
This event is suitable for anyone responsible for people management, such as HR professionals, coaches, managers and business leaders.
We will focus on simple, practical ways to use Positive Psychology in everyday leadership, helping with employee development, engagement, well-being, and building a strong team culture.
Optional activity
To get the most out of the workshop, attendees are encouraged to complete the VIA Strengths Profile (details below) and bring their results.
About the VIA Strengths Profile:
The VIA Survey is a scientifically validated questionnaire that provides a comprehensive representation of your core character strengths. Developed by renowned psychologists Dr. Martin Seligman and Dr. Christopher Peterson, this profile is rooted in positive psychology research and has been embraced worldwide for its ability to foster self-awareness, personal growth, and well-being. Completing the VIA Survey offers you insightful feedback about your top strengths and how you can utilise them to achieve your fullest potential.
How to Complete Your Profile:
1. Visit www.viacharacter.org to access the survey.
2. Create an account using a valid email address.
3. Dedicate approximately 15-20 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the survey thoughtfully, going with your ‘gut feeling’ rather than overthinking the answers.
4. Upon completion, you will receive a report of your top character strengths.
Please note, there is no need to purchase the additional report, just bring along the summary report of your strengths to the session.
