Hi everyoneWith the new Breakfast Creek Green bridge now open, we will head to Brett’s Wharf for a full Hamilton - Howard Smith skate.
As usual, there are two routes, and starting points depending on your skill level.
ADVANCED SKATERS
4pm Brett’s Wharf Ferry terminal
About 20kms return, this skate is for confident and experienced outdoor skaters. It has a combination of smooth and rough paths, roadways and long sections of gentle downhill.
Parking is available in and around the streets of Hamilton & Portside, or paid parking underneath Portside wharf.
GENERAL/ BEGINNER SKATERS
4.30pm - end of Riverside Tce, New Farm - start of the riverwalk.
Get started a little early, cut some laps and meet us here for a gentle few laps of the riverwalk, before heading to Betty’s burgers for dinner.
The riverwalk is smooth and flat, perfect skating for quads, beginners and kids.
Skaters can go at their own pace and do laps to suit your own speed if needed.
Parking available in and around the streets of New Farm.
If you are coming to either event, make sure you click ‘going’ so you can be updated in the case of bad weather.
