Join Eric Mannella, portrait painter and co-founder of Atelier de Brésoles to paint portraits in oil from life. Over the course of 4 intensive 3 hour sessions, we will focus on the structure of the head, light effects, colour relationships, palette mixing, and brushwork. Suitable for painters of all levels.

About Eric Mannella
Eric Mannella is a renowned Canadian artist and co-founder of Atelier de Brésoles. His personal work focuses on portraiture and the human figure. He is an inspiring teacher who has taught students of all ages for more than two decades. In addition to teaching at Atelier de Brésoles, Eric Mannella is an instructor of artistic anatomy and drawing at the world-renowned Syn Studio in Montreal. He has an MFA cum laude from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from York University in Toronto. Mr. Mannella is the recipient of a Forbes Foundation Travel Grant to Château Balleroy and the Prince of Wales Scholarship from the Prince of Wales Foundation.
Mr. Mannella was featured in the 2007 documentary film L'Art du Nu. He has given artist talks and painting demonstrations at a number of arts institutions including Concordia University, S.U.N.Y. New Paltz, Algonquin College, and ArtNOW Westmount. He has been a juror for the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada and the Institut des arts figuratifs.
