About this Event
Join a journey through time and space with Editor and ICC Board Member Robin Laurìa Witkin. “Bring Me the Cousins” is a story about finding Robin’s family in Italy and how it was influenced by random events and cultures and unintentionally given direction by both the Italian Cultural Center and a dinner with friends from Japan. Robin followed a trail that led from Naples to Ellis Island to Brier Hill, Youngstown, Ohio’s Italian quarter, and back across the Atlantic to the Basilicata region.
Come ready to hear history in the making and how these Italian American journeys influence both individual destinies and the collective.
There will be time for comments and questions at the end. ICC is a living archive and we want to include your stories and contributions.
Hand-made taralli and biscotti from Basilicata will be shared, alongside the original recipes from Robin's Italian family.
Our new location has very limited spots. Book your seat soon!
