Port Sunlight Orchestra was formed around 1900 and is one of the village’s oldest institutions. The orchestra played at the opening ceremony of the Lady Lever Art Gallery in 1922 and have presented regular Sunday afternoon concerts here ever since. This series of concerts in our main hall will take visitors on a musical tour of the British Isles. This journey will start on 20 October in Scotland. The concert will feature a mixture of traditional Scottish melodies and composers with a connection to Scotland such as Hugh Roberton and Alexander Mackenzie.
The concert on 8 December will be England-themed.
