An opportunity to explore this remote corner of Scotland which boasts wild coastline with spectacular cliff walks and seascapes. The Gulf Stream creates the perfect environment for idyllic gardens. The area is steeped in history and is renowned for its numerous historic lighthouses.
Planned led walks include the following:-
The Merrick, the highest summit in south west Scotland, 13.25k; Castle Kennedy and gardens 10k;
The Mull of Galloway 10.5k along clifftops;
Portpatrick and Killantringan following part of the Southern Upland way along coast and countryside 11k.
There are additional self led walks including Port Logan, Logan Gardens, Dunskey Castle, Glenwhan Gardens to name a few.
