Discover the art of porcupine quillwork in this hands-on workshop at the Kittitas County Historical Museum! One of the oldest decorative practices in Native cultures, quillwork was once used to adorn clothing, baskets, bags, and regalia. Under Lydia’s guidance, participants will learn how quills are softened, prepared, shaped, and wrapped — creating their own ??????- ?? ??????-????? ????? ???????? to take home.
This workshop welcomes all experience levels — whether you’re completely new to quillwork or continuing your creative journey. A lunch break will take place at noon; participants may bring lunch, order delivery, or explore nearby restaurants. ?️
