ABOUT THE EVENT
RSVP: A free Eventbrite ticket reserves your spot. The night of the event, a $15 donation is suggested per person (or, $30 per family) to support the Porchlight organization. If this amount is restrictive for you to attend, please come anyway. We’d rather have you!
Chili Supper: A free chili dinner will start at 6:00PM in the basement of the church. All are welcome to join for food before the concert.
Time: Concert seating will open at 6:30pm and the concert starts at 7:00pm. Hangout after the show with friends and the artist!
ABOUT THE ARTIST, Jon Hayes
"What I value most is honesty. Even though it can be hard for me, it’s something I treasure a lot. Music has been a place to wrestle with honesty for me. Whether it’s expressing my joys or doubts to the Lord, working through a difficult heartache, or reconciling a relationship, songs have been the space for me to flesh those things out.
I've been fortunate to have the opportunities to share these songs and stories with people across the Midwest and North East in a variety of contexts: festivals such as Soulfest, Creation, Worship in the Adirondacks, churches, and all kinds of venues over the past few years. But, I'm really looking forward to this new chapter of focusing on house concerts. I enjoy and lean into the one on one connection that these experiences offer and my music is primed for this precisely. I hope to share these songs and stories with you face to face soon."
