Grades 1st - 8th. Join us for a thrilling one-day Broadway Bootcamp *Boo Bash* workshop as we dive into the fun, lighthearted side of spooky musical theatre! Get into the Halloween spirit with spooky songs and dances! We’ll perform scenes from Broadway’s most exciting and mysterious shows, focusing on fun, not frights. You’ll build confidence through singing, dancing, and acting while having a blast with fellow performers!
Our experienced facilitators will guide you through the basics of musical theatre, helping you create a final performance filled with energy and excitement. Whether you’re experienced or new to the stage, you’ll love bringing playful, mischievous characters to life! Family and friends are invited to join us for a final performance at 3:00 PM to show off your spooky skills!
Costumes: Wear your favorite Halloween-themed costume to add to the fun! Keep in mind there will only be about 10 minutes to get into costume pieces before the show, so hair and makeup should be done prior to drop-off or require minimal touch-ups. No blood, gore, or wounds, please. Also, make sure your costume is performance-friendly—nothing too large or restrictive for dancing and moving. Avoid costumes that are too hot or uncomfortable during physical activity. Accessories and props are welcome as long as they don’t interfere with your movement. Let’s keep it spooky and fun for everyone!
Staff will greet students at 11:15 AM, and the workshop runs until the 3:00 PM performance. Be sure to bring an allergy-friendly lunch, snack, water bottle, comfortable clothes, and tennis shoes for a day full of spirited fun! We can’t wait to celebrate Halloween in Broadway style!
