Popcorn Cloud— Solo Photography Exhibition by Winner Brave

Popcorn Clouds is a solo photography exhibition by Calgary-based artist Winner Brave, exploring the emotional terrain of limbo — the suspended space between who we were and who we are becoming. Through striking portraiture and conceptual imagery, the work interrogates performed joy versus interior reality, asking what it means to smile through uncertainty and float in a life not yet fully landed.

The series moves between two visual worlds: an aerial yellow palette evoking lightness, drift, and the unresolved — and a grounded red palette (Before I Let Go) that confronts the interior, the body, and the weight of transformation.

Popcorn Clouds is an invitation to sit inside the in-between.
