Samantha Sambrooke here - maybe you’ve heard, but I’m a part of the Dancing with the Stars fundraiser this year for Hospice PEI. The big event is October 25th at the Florence Simmons Hall.My goal is to raise $5000 before the big show. To help get there, I’m offering 4 mini workshops. These 2 hour classes will be a mix of lecture/discussion and practice.
This one is called “New to Yoga Intro Class”. Here you will learn:
- What is Yoga?
- What are the different styles and which one is right for me?
- How to move safely
- A few basics from breathing, moving to relaxing to help get you on your way
Come prepared to move. Bring or borrow a Yoga mat if you have one. There is a limited supply in studio. All other props as well as chairs are available. These sessions are open to all!
I’m a Yoga Therapist specializing in Somatic Yoga and Yoga for Mental health. I also run the Maritime Yoga School on PEI.
