Trade Day invites youth ages 12-21 AND ADULTS, for an opportunity to engage in hands-on learning of 7 different Trades!About this Event
Do you know a teen or adult that enjoys working with their hands?
Trade Day provides teens between the ages of 12-21 with the opportunity to participate in hands-on learning of 3 Trades of their choice for FREE! Adults are welcome to participate in Trade Day also! The sessions will be conducted by local businesses and entrepreneurs. Local trade colleges will also be on site to provide the participants with information on furthering their education with alternative colleges/programs.
We're grateful to The Chicago Community Trust for their donation to make Trade Day 2024 even better!
Local organizations will distribute information about their upcoming events, as well as community resources!
The objective of #TradeDay is to expose teens and adults to hands-on learning of trades that may enlighten their inner tradesperson!
Some people love working with their hands, but don't have access to people that are willing to take the time to share the necessary skills with them. Some students do not desire to attend a 4 year university, but need alternate paths to success. That's where WE come in! We connect our community members to the resources that will help to enhance their lives.
Join us to see what the hype is all about! When registering multiple youth, complete separate registrations for each teen. Our waivers have to accepted in order to attend.
